Microblading
What is it?
Microblading is a cosmetic tattoo procedure performed using a hand held tool. This tool is used to create lines that resemble eyebrow hairs, mimicking the natural appearance of hair strokes. Fine deposits of pigment are manually inserted into the epidermis (the first and second layer of the skin.)
This technique yields the best results & heals as intended with a very specific skin type: firm, taut skin – normal/dry – small or invisible pores) On skin types that do not fit this description, microblading can not be guaranteed to heal crisp, last, and may fade unevenly over time. Microblading is meant to yield a very natural & airy look and is not meant to resemble the look of makeup. If you have no brow hair at all, a combination brow or an ombre brow is going to yield the most realistic results. It can last anywhere from 18-30 months depending on your skin type, lifestyle, and adherence to aftercare. All new client sessions include the first microblading appointment as well as a 4-8 week touch up. The touch up appointment is just as significant as your first appointment in achieving crisp and beautifully shaped brows. Microblading is a very shallow tattoo in the skin, and your skin's first instinct is to heal away the ink. The severity of this happening is based on your skins physiology and your adherence to aftercare on your brows. It is NORMAL for your brows to appear slightly patchy or uneven in the 6 week span before your second session. It is imperative that you trust your artist and the process.
Ombre Brows
What is it?
The ombre technique gives the brows a soft natural powder look. A single nano needle is swept lightly back and forth over the skin to build layers of pigment into the brows. Also known as Ombre powder brows, stardust brows, or machine shading. This allows us to customize each client's brows depending on their personal preferences, ranging from very natural to intense & bold, creating a beautiful ombre effect: darker in the tail of the brow to lighter in the bulb of the brow, simulating the pattern of natural and fuller eyebrows.
Ombre is a great deal more suitable & successful for most skin types, whereas microblading requires more selectiveness. Ombre puts less trauma on the skin, gives more even color distribution, is longer lasting on more skin types, and can be paired with a few microbladed hair strokes in the bulb of the brow for added accent and detail if desired.

Your tattoo should heal within two weeks, dependent on the individual person. With this in mind, you should understand that YOUR skin may heal quicker or slower. Some tattoos require a lot more work to be done in the skin. The more damage your skin receives, the longer it may need to heal. People with higher blood pressure will tend to bleed more, increasing the chance of “bleeding: out some of the ink.
